Mike is dedicated to helping clients and their families work toward their goals with a well-thought-out financial strategy for retirement.
With two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mike first became a financial advisor out of a desire to make an impact helping people live a confident and successful retirement. In 2010, Mike and his colleague, Wes Hoppe started their own firm, Ryan & Hoppe Investment Management, which became Triton Wealth.
Mike enjoys developing relationships with clients and creating customized, goals-based wealth management and investment solutions. He specializes in retirement income planning for retirees and those approaching retirement and investment strategies for high-net-worth investors. When asked what one piece of advice he would share with clients, he said, “Always work with an independent, fiduciary advisor to develop a retirement and income plan. Then stick to it.”
Mike is a financial professional who can offer investment and insurance products and services. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation, has passed the Series 7, 63 and 66 securities exams, and holds life, health, annuity and long-term care insurance licenses. He received a bachelor’s degree in management and entrepreneurship from St. John’s University.
Outside of the office, Mike loves spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three daughters, Macey, Lainey and Riley. He is an avid downhill skier and enjoys traveling, hunting and fitness.

Wes focuses on helping clients achieve their investment goals by designing custom, prudent strategies with their individual needs in mind.
Wes’ parents taught him the importance of financial independence from a young age, a legacy he strives to pass on to his clients. In 2004, Wes started working for a national brokerage firm before partnering with Mike to form Triton Wealth. He enjoys analyzing all aspects of his clients’ financial picture to develop a holistic plan that includes retirement income, investment management, tax and estate planning, business succession and risk management. Wes’ most important advice for clients and prospective clients is to “Put in the time and effort to develop and implement a financial plan — it’s the blueprint to your financial future.”
Wes is a financial professional who can offer investment and insurance products and services. He graduated from the University of Minnesota — Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He has passed the Series 24, 7 and 66 exams and holds life, annuity and health insurance licenses. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
When not pursuing his passion at work, Wes loves spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their children, Grace, Lydia and John, on Pine and Farm Island lakes just outside of Aitkin. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.
